Dipa Shah is on a mission. The pretty actress, who is acting in Mysskin’s Yuddham Sei along with Cheran, is intent on creating an awareness among motorists in Chennai on the need to use low-beam lights while driving. “I’ve not been here for long, but I’ve realised that several motorists here use high-beam lights while driving. I’m not a great driver, but I do know that people must refrain from using high beams unless absolutely necessary. The reason we ask people not to use high beam is because high-beam lights can actually blind drivers heading in the opposite direction and cause an accident. At some point, you might always think that it is not going to matter to you. But you just don't know — if the person travelling in the opposite direction is blinded by your vehicle’s lights, then he could well end up hitting your car,” she explains.
Appeals the actress, “So, please use high beams only on stretches that are long and clear. Otherwise, use low-beam lights and you’ll find it works perfectly fine. It’s for everybody’s safety.”
